Hey I’m Abbey!

I

I am a passionate, vibrant instructor who found holistic fitness and wellbeing through my career as a Professional Dancer.  After years of working throughout Australia and overseas, my body started to give up on me and I was forced to slow down, eventually retiring from dancing professionally and turning my attention to holistic fitness and wellness. I first fell in love with yoga and completed my teacher training in 2013 but knew I wanted to do more, so began delving into different areas of fitness and holistic health, completing my Certificate of Integrative Nutrition, Masters of Personal Training and then finding my true passion, Pilates. I had always done Pilates from a young age, as most dancers do in some way or another but never quite understood just how profound the practice of Pilates was on the body. I went on to complete my Clinical Diploma of Pilates. Since then I’ve furthered my training in many ways, including Yin Pilates, Pre/Postnatal, Women’s health etc etc!

I live to inspire clients to develop physical strength as well as mental and emotional well-being by showing them just how great they can feel inside and out, whilst not taking things too seriously. I’m passionate about using my knowledge and skills as a empower clients to feel strong and able in their bodies.

A student for life, I continue to learn and educate myself from various international industry leaders on different styles, techniques, modalities.

I took 2023 off to work on my biggest project and achievement yet, which was having my baby boy Milo. Having Milo has introduced me to a whole new beautiful world that is motherhood and all the trials and tribulations that comes with it. My passion has shifted now to focus more towards helping women pre and postnatally and supporting their needs through movement and wellbeing.

When I’m not working with my amazing clients, you’ll find me surfing, cooking or hanging with my little family!
